CEMETERY RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. General Conduct
The cemetery is a place of peace and reflection. Visitors are expected to always conduct themselves with respect. Loud noises, disturbances, and inappropriate behaviour are strictly prohibited.Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
2. Visiting Hours
Cemetery is open daily from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Visiting after hours is not permitted without prior written approval from the cemetery office.
3. Burial and Interment
All burials, including placement of ashes, must be approved and scheduled through the cemetery administration.
Only authorized personnel are permitted to open or close graves.
Advance booking of burial plots must be documented with proper receipts and allotment certificates.
4. Grave Markers and Monuments
Installation of headstones, plaques, or monuments must conform to cemetery guidelines.
Designs and materials must be approved in advance.
Unauthorized installations may be removed at the family's expense.
5. Flowers and Decorations
Fresh flowers are permitted. Artificial flowers, wreaths, and other decorations must be secured and will be removed after a period (usually 30 days).
No glass containers or hazardous items are allowed.
Planting of trees or shrubs is not permitted without prior permission.
6. Maintenance and Upkeep
The cemetery is maintained by designated staff. Visitors must not attempt to dig, plant, or modify grave areas.
Littering is strictly prohibited. Use designated bins for disposal.
7. Vehicles and Parking
Only registered vehicles are allowed inside the cemetery grounds.
Vehicles must adhere to speed limits (typically 10 km/h) and park in designated areas only.
8. Prohibited Activities
Alcohol, smoking, loud music, and use of narcotics are strictly banned on cemetery premises.
No sales, distribution of literature, or solicitation is permitted within the cemetery.
Pets are not allowed, except registered service animals.
9. Religious and Cultural Practices
The cemetery respects all faiths. Visitors are encouraged to perform religious rites with dignity and without disrupting others.
Prior coordination is requested for group ceremonies or special observances.
10. Liability and Disclaimer
The cemetery management is not liable for loss or damage to any personal property brought into the premises.
Visitors enter at their own risk and are responsible for following all posted rules and directions.
APPLICATION FOR BURIAL IN SALISBURY PARK BURIAL GROUND
1. The facility is open for the members of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of the following four Churches
a. Salisbury Memorial English Church
b. Marathi Mandir, Salisbury Park
c. Spicer University English Church
d. SDA Church , Vincent Street
e. SDA Church, Aundh
2. All members have to produce the Baptismal Certificate accompanied with authorisation letter from the respective Church pastors.
3. All members have to pay the charges
a. Regular Fees Rs. 12,500.00
b. Concrete Construction of Grave Rs. 16,500.00
